This composite portrait was created as a portfolio piece for my computer graphics curriculum. By incorporating photos of hardware and various reptiles, I updated a classic image to portray a woman who is elegant and dangerously cutting edge. Manipulating graphics in Adobe Photoshop is a basic skill set for web design. It was a lot of fun to explore a new tool like this.

The Basement Project is a fledgling band that commissioned this layout for their proposed web site. This was an exercise how to determine the viewpoint of the client and create pieces from that perspective. Their ‘grunge’ roots and punk rock influences are reflected in the stylistic elements that frame the photos of their group. I generated and controlled all graphic input in this project, from shooting the photos on location to completing the final piece in Adobe Photoshop.
