The following article was informative content in a group Wiki project. It was my intention to relate social networking to a business context. This analysis of how the different levels of social networking impacts the way professionals interface with their work highlights how Internet culture enhance our lives.

Social Networking for Business Use

Although what you put on your Facebook page might occasionally impact your career, social networking is primarily associated with leisure time activity. This is changing as more people are using social networking sites created solely for business purposes. Some sites focus on listing where you now work and what you are doing and act as a source of job leads and personal recommendations. Other sites are more akin to on-line conference rooms, hosting discussions in particular areas of expertise.
